Every Plytech panel passes through a rigorous quality control system designed to ensure structural integrity, dimensional accuracy, and long-term performance in any application.
Every incoming log and veneer sheet is assessed for species, grade, moisture content, and structural suitability before entering the production line.
Veneer moisture is measured and controlled throughout drying to achieve optimal bonding conditions, preventing delamination in service.
Adhesive application rates are monitored and calibrated to maintain consistent bond quality across all panel grades and sizes.
Hot press temperature, pressure, and cycle times are logged for every production run to ensure complete adhesive cure.
Trimmed panels are measured for thickness, squareness, and face dimensions against standard tolerances.
Panel samples from each production batch undergo internal bond and shear strength tests in accordance with relevant standards.
Face and back veneers are inspected under standardised lighting for surface defects, colour consistency, and grain uniformity.
Only panels passing all criteria are approved, graded, and stamped with product information before bundling for despatch.
